Pan Roasted Asparagus


1 lb. thin asparagus

2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Wash and cut 2 inches from the bottom.

Heat cast iron skillet. Add butter and asparagus.
Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Roast on mid-hi heat until asparagus gets some brown and stays tinder, approximately 5 minutes.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
Serve this appetizer with your favorite entrée.
