Tasty Crock Pot Loaded Potato Soup

 - 12 small or 6 large baking potatoes, peeled, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 quart chicken broth
- 3 garlic cloves, minced (or pressed)
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 

- 8 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
- sour cream, for serving
- cheese, for sprinkling                                      

Chop Onion
Add onion, garlic and butter into crock pot
Cut potato into 1/2 -inch pieces
Add potato's into crock pot
Pour broth into crock pot
Season with salt and pepper
 Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours (potato should be tender).
Blend everything with immersion blender. You can use potato masher but it wont be as smooth.
Stir in cheese and half & half

Mix well

When serving top with sour cream, cheese and bacon. Enjoy!!!
